EVERYWHERE Official Reveal Trailer (2023)

I worked as a Content Designer on Everywhere, which is a multiplayer online platform built around user-generated content, in which players explore open biomes, drive vehicles and build their own interactive objects, challenges, and games using the proprietary ARCADIA creation toolset. A closed alpha launched in December 2023.

My work focused on the game's campaign: a series of missions branded as Trials, designed to onboard players into the game's mechanics, locomotion, combat and upgrade systems, while demonstrating what could be built using ARCADIA. As the game has not yet officially released, the specific details of my work remain under NDA. The livestream footage below showcases one of these levels. Note that this level was not designed by me. The reason for its inclusion is to provide an accurate sense of the scope and style of content I delivered until the game is published.

My responsibilities included:

  • Design and development of four campaign Trials, including layout, gameplay flow, puzzles, and systemic setups similar in scope to the below level.

  • Design, development, and delivery of an in-game store experience, involving close coordination with monetisation and gameplay systems teams.

  • Dependency coordination with Audio, Art, Narrative, and Gameplay Systems across both the Trials and the store.

EVERYWHERE First Gameplay Video (2023)

The video below provides a brief introduction to ARCADIA, the proprietary toolset used to design and develop content for Everywhere. Working with a tool that was in active development alongside the game offered a perspective most designers don't get: a deep understanding of how the toolset functioned at a foundational level while collaborating directly with the teams building it. This closeness to the development process created a natural feedback loop, allowing us to raise pain points end users would encounter and guide development toward the features that would matter most to players.
